Welcome. Hi, I am Stan Earle. I wasn't brought up with religion but I had believed in a Creator God, even so I hadn't ever given God much thought. When I was 18 I died in a bike accident with my two friends. One moment I was riding my Triumph 500, turning right, then quite suddenly I was hit in the side by my friends Kawasaki 500 at 90 miles per hour. My friend Richard Burton was driving with my best friend Andrew Goff on the back. As I got up and walked away from the point of impact, I just sat down watching the bike burn, I had no idea that I had died. I didn't see my friends just the flames of Richards bike. I was soon to hear the Almighty speak to me out of a dark cloud. His voice filled the sky yet He spoke gently to me.
Realizing that I had been in a tragic accident, I screamed that I wanted to live, in a flash I was back in my broken body. This tragedy deepened my belief in God, but I still remained unrepentant until April 1990. The almighty fore knowing that I would one day turn to Jesus and cry out for forgiveness and salvation, spared my life and raised me from the dead. Throughout all my unsaved years, I just couldn't understand why I had been given my life back. I used to live thinking that I didn't deserve to have lived, and that I ought to have stayed dead. Why don't you become a Christian? When the Bible tells of the birth of christ we are also assured of Jesus sinless life, Jesus death for all our sins, and Jesus Resurrection. For a born again christian life after death is a certainty. Many people are searching for god's truth, but you and I can only begin to understand the truth when we accept the person who is the truth. This is what Jesus has done for me. Its not that I have no hardships or problems, its because knowing the Holiness and Love of Jesus is all consuming, and God's Love has fulfilled my quest, my search for truth. When people ask is there is there a God, they need to just look around them and open their eyes at what God has made. Doctor Richard Kent once told me that he used to be an atheist, then he began to listen
to stories of those who had died during operations and had been resuscitated back to life.
Dr Kent noted that some people said they experienced a terrifying hell while others said they experienced a wonderful heavenly place.

I received this as an e mail I thought it would make you think, it did me. I have Christian friends of mine who a few years ago stopped saying merry Christmas due to it being so pagan. I remember thinking its not pagan to me, it a good opportunity to say merry Christmas and to remind everyone, that Christmas is all about Jesus. Don't just leave Jesus in the manger as a helpless baby, but remind them that Jesus Jesus grew up. God had become human flesh and that as a man, Jesus died in our place on the cross to pay the death penalty for all our sins, and that yes Jesus died but Jesus didn't stay dead "Jesus is Alive He arose on the third day and that Jesus is the only Savior of the World. We need to preach the faith, repentance turn to Jesus, ask Him for forgiveness, give your life to Him. Follow Jesus, seek to do Father God's Will. Remain within sound biblical doctrine. We need to prayerfully preach the Gospel to try and get people off the wide road to hell, and on the narrow road to heaven. Jesus is the door to the narrow road. Enter through Jesus. We need to love people in God's Gospel message not just say happy holidays. My brothers and sisters read the following. Merry Christmas from Stan and Julie and all my family and in Christ. DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Do you know what is happening in England today? People who claim to be Christians are not getting involved and becoming faithful to a church -- the local fellowship of believers. Such a thing was unheard of in the Bible. If you were a Christian, you were faithful to the fellowship. You attended when everyone gathered together. If you stopped attending, they assumed that you were backslide or far worse, an apostate. What is more important than the local visible expression of the body of Christ? It is the way we stay "plugged in" to the needs of the body of Christ. It is the way we show honor to Him in worship. It is simply the way.
ACTION POINT:
What do you have on your schedule this week that is more important than being a part of the blood-bought body of the Lord Jesus Christ?
THE WAR IS OVER.
The story is told about a man in Amsterdam who, not so long ago, was feeling guilty about something he had done, so he went and talked to his preacher.
He said, "I feel terrible because I've sinned. During World War II I hid a refugee in my attic."
The preacher said, "I don't believe that's a sin at all. I wouldn't feel bad about that if I were you."
"But I made him agree to pay me 20 Gulden for every week he stayed."
The preacher said, "Well, I admit that wasn't the most noble thing to do, but you did it for a good cause, so I still wouldn't worry about it."
The man said, "Oh thank you, that eases my mind. I have only one more question to ask you -- Do I have to tell him the war is over?"
We as Christians are engaged in a spiritual warfare -- it's Christianity vs. The world, the forces of good vs. The forces of evil.
And it's easy to get the idea (especially if you watch the news) that God's side is losing, and immorality is winning out!
John wrote the book of Revelation for Christians who must have been feeling the same way. After all, Rome certainly seemed to have the upper hand. Christians were losing! But, in reality, the war is over, and we know who wins!
John, looking ahead, writes, "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful." (Revelation 17:14)
There are battles around us daily, and sometimes Satan does indeed seem to be winning, but looking ahead, the war is over and we know that those who are on God's side will be victorious! Keep that in mind today when you feel like you're fighting a losing battle!
Christian Teacher facing sack for expressing Christian beliefs on homosexual practice to Colleagues is re-instated after threat of Legal Action.
Kwabena Peat's Story : Suspended For Questioning Equality Policy at School
A SENIOR London teacher, suspended and threatened with the sack for expressing his Christian beliefs at work will be back at work next term.
Kwabena Peat, 54, was suspended after he complained that a staff training day was used to promote homosexual rights, and to marginalise and label those who disagreed with homosexual practice. His case follows a number of others which have left Christians feeling sidelined in the workplace.
Mr Peat, who is head of year at a North London secondary school, walked out of the compulsory training session along with several other colleagues. The session included a presentation by Sue Sanders, a co-founder of the Schools Out organisation which promotes a radical homosexual agenda in schools, in which she questioned whether heterosexuality was “natural”.
Mr Peat states there was no opportunity for those with a different point of view to respond. He wrote to three staff who organised the event and complained about the “aggressive” presentation of homosexual rights. His letter also referred to his Christian beliefs about the practice of homosexuality – that sex should be between a man and woman within marriage.
The recipients of the letter said they felt “harassed and intimidated” by it. Following an investigation, Mr Peat was suspended.
The committed Christian said he fully expected the training session to provide information to help teachers handle homophobic bullying, but the guest speaker had gone much further. He said: “She started promoting homosexual lifestyles and suggesting those who had objections should sort out their prejudices. She asked us ‘What makes you all think that to be heterosexual is natural?’ It was at that point I walked out.”
Mr Peat, supported by the Christian Legal Centre challenged the school’s employment procedures and informed the school that claiming the letter ‘harassed’ staff was ludicrous as the teachers to whom he complained about the event were all senior to him. He also told them he believed the charge ‘gross misconduct’ was disproportionate to any alleged ‘offence’ that they claimed to have taken place. The CLC instructed leading human rights barrister Paul Diamond to advise the teacher and as a result, Mr Peat told the school he was prepared to take them through Industrial Tribunal, and if necessary, to seek a Judicial Review of the Human Rights of Christian Teachers via the High Court if necessary.
The school’s appeal panel, meeting last Friday, week agreed the charge of ‘gross misconduct’ to be disproportionate, and Mr Peat will return to work when the new term commences in September.
Andrea Minichiello Williams, barrister and director of the Christian Legal Centre said: “Although we consider this a great victory for common sense, the School is still seeking to control Mr Peat’s views and behaviour by not allowing him to talk about what has happened, both within the school or via the media, which has been very supportive. Mr Peat was discriminated against for expressing his Christian faith and his invitation to consider Christianity was deemed ‘harassment’. What kind of society are we living in when a legitimate orthodox Christian view as expressed by Mr Peat is construed in this way?
“I am delighted that CLC has secured another success, and that Mr Peat can return to work. It must surely be deemed unacceptable that highly trained teachers should be discriminated against and face dismissal for seeking to protect children. Mr Peat simply expressed a Christian viewpoint and objected to the school undermining parental rights regarding the education of their children on sexual ethics. He should be applauded for challenging the new political orthodoxy in an attempt to protect children rather than face such harsh intimidation”.
Mr Peat is not available for media interviews in order to comply with the school’s request.
