Enjoy Cheong's personal testimony.

I got to know Jesus from the encouragement from my father. He brought me to a pastor   in a Methodist church and I began to know Christ better after taking some online and correspondence bible course. I came from a Taoism family. My family like to pray according to the taois and buddhist. I do not have the chance to get to know Jesus until then. The taoism practice, the people like to ask their fortune from the idols and burn their name, date of birth, and personal details to the idols. I thought they were gods when I was young and I used to follow their practice. Whenever I am going for an exam, asking about my future, including my future boyfriend, etc, I went to the temple and ask the gods. They have sticks and some printed paper, with numbers. Whatever we asked from our hearts, the sticks with certain number will comes out and the printed paper is taken according to what number one get. Then if one read the printed paper, that is the answer of the gods to the prayer or what one asked for. I went to many temples before when I faced adversary in my lives, to ask for help and fortune and to have a better life, including praying for a boyfriend as my life partner. Until one day I got haunted or charmed by the evil spirits, the people and gods in temple unable to save me, then I found out about Christ. When I just come to know Christ, I was new and did not know anything about the bible, one of the pastor introduce some sisters to me who had similar encounter before. One of the sister told me about her testimony, she was also a taois and buddhist before she was a Christian, she went to many temples before and got charmed by her former husband. She even tempted to kill her parents and haunted by the evil spirits. Until one day she was saved when she came to a pastor, prayed for her and she was blessed. She now live normally, earned a diploma in beauty and health care and have a new boyfriend who was also a Christian and she studied bible course and preached to the nations. Although I am still encountering some spiritual warfare, I hope and pray that I will be totally saved and away from the darkness , hope that I can preach to the nations and contribute my whole life for Jesus.
