To believe in the Mass is to believe in the perpetual sacrifice of Christ when the Bible categorically teaches that Jesus died once and for all on the Cross. Confession in a booth is not in the Bible. Rosary beads are not taught anywhere in the Bible, in fact repetitive prayer is forbidden by Jesus Himself. Monks are not in the Bible. Nuns are not in the Bible.The Latin language is not any more of a spiritual language than any other in the Bible, remembering that the New Testament was written in Greek and the Old Testament was written in Hebrew. Even so Acts 2 reveals that it is God's Will for all people to hear God's Word in there native language. Latin is great if Latin is your native language but it is against God's Will to speak God's Word in Latin to a non Latin speaking audience, thus denying the hearers understanding. There is no direct successor of Peter the apostle mentioned in the Bible, only many elders who were Holy Spirit filled men to corporately lead the Church of Christ under Christ's authority. There is no burning heretics at the stake in the Bible. There is no worshiping the bread in the Lords table wrongly believing the bread to have become Jesus. To worship the bread is the sin of idolatry. Idols / statues / graven images are all forbidden by God in the Bible. Its actually staggering how far Rome is from the truth.
God's history reveals that Jesus disciples were persecuted by the Roman Emperors and then when Constantine came to power in 325 AD and adopted Christianity as Rome's religion the persecution still carried on but this time they were called heretics/false teachers because they didn't submit to the unbiblical Roman Catholic beliefs. Thankfully people get saved out of the Roman Catholic Church. William Tyndale from the year 1525 AD had heard from the almighty and had been commissioned by God to translate from the original Holy Scripture to produce an English translation for the English speaking people. For over 1000 years the Roman Catholic Church had forbidden any translation except Latin. William Tyndale, Holy Spirit filled and courageous was obedient to God's call. Even though William Tyndale was hunted down by the Catholic Church, and was in many times in fear of his life, he continued his translations to the Will of God. Tyndale translated the whole Bible into English and was able to get these priceless Scriptures into the hands of some men of God. Just in time Tyndale by the power of God, handed over the English Scriptures.
Tyndale was then caught by the Roman Catholic Church and first strangled to stop him speaking and then William Tyndale our brother in Christ was burnt at the stake. Williams crime was obedience to Christ. Today most of the English speaking people in England take there English translation for granted. Today we each have available in England our very own English Bible translation. You would think that now we can all read the Bible in our own language we would be sharing God's Word with our Roman Catholic friends, explaining to them how what they believe differs from what God's Word teaches concerning the above subjects.
Most Christians prayerfully wanted to see Catholics saved right up to about 70 years ago. Catholics were to be called out of Rome into Bible believing churches. Then fulfilling the Holy Scripture concerning Christians departing from the truth, many Christians became liberals, they began seeking ecumenicalism with the Roman catholic Church, a joining together.
For many years now the spirit behind ecumenicalism has been excepted by most Christian denominations as the Holy Spirit. Liberal Christian leaders 50 years ago raised new and up and coming Christian leaders with ecumenical ideas. The spiritual thoughts behind ecumenicalism is a belief that we should only discuss what we agree upon. This ecumenical way of thinking has also led to inter faith relations, with interfaith services, it has become common at certain times of the year to see religious leaders from all religions speaking together, praying together, all under the banner of ecumenicalism. Many think an ecumenical way of thinking is a wonderful thing . Many think its the way of peace, the way to avoid war and conflict therefore it has to be of God. Actually its man trying to bring peace to the world without Christ. Mans way and not God's way. The Bible is clear, people can only make peace with God through faith in the sinless blood of Jesus, crucified and risen Savior. The whole world will not experience peace until Jesus returns to rule, and right up to that time there will be terrible bloodshed. The spirit behind ecumenicalism is the same spirit that will bring in a new world order under the rule of the antichrist. Biblically the people whom the antichrist will seek to overcome and put to death will be Jesus disciples who will be saved after the rapture of the Worldwide Church. Now some Christians believe that the rapture will take place at a different time, but all believe Jesus will return to destroy the antichrist and to set up His Rule upon the whole earth. The reason is the Bible says so.
The purpose of this writing is not so much as to answer the deep questions concerning the rapture and Jesus return. The purpose of these writings is to encourage you and your Church to stop seeking ecumenicalism with the Roman Catholic Church and to start seeking God for His wisdom of how to get our Catholic friends to come to follow Jesus Christ out of Rome into Bible believing churches. To not seek inter faith, but to remain in the faith and preach the Gospel of Salvation to those who trust in what the Bible calls the teaching of demons. We born again Christians are to hold onto unity in the Spirit as we work towards unity in the faith. This is Biblical Christianity. The time is near we must keep watch for our Lord is coming. Keep watch Jesus said. Watch. Jesus never preached ecumenicalism, Jesus preached repentance. Jesus is the author and perfector of a true believers faith. Today when Roman Catholics see what used to be protestant churches wrongly ordaining homosexuals and a appointing women bishops, they are even more convinced that they are in the true Church. Listen these things are done by heretical liberal leaders. If your a Roman Catholic reading this then it can be confusing, its a lot to take in. Don't panic or become angry, God has led you here. If you ask Jesus, He will lead you to study His Word. If you ask Jesus to teach you, then He will. If you repent and verbally give up your life to Jesus Christ, then Jesus will make all things new.
