Psalm 127 Unless the LORD builds the house, The builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, The guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, Toiling for food to eat— For he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the LORD, Offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. ( Taken from the Holy Bible )
I was born in January 1976, as I was growing up, my parents used to read me stories about Jesus Christ, and at the end of each story was a prayer in which I used to say. When I reached the age of five, my family started to go to church, and I used to go to Sunday School and learn about Jesus. By the time I was eleven, started to think I was a Christian following Jesus. I used to read the Holy Bible while I was at school, but I could never understand it. When I reached the age of sixteen I met a born again Christian. He asked me if I was born again ?. I looked at him and thought, what on earth is that, I thought I have always been a Christian, so I must be born again, so I looked at him and said yes I am.
He started to tell me how I have to repent of my sins and ask Jesus Christ into my life. It was there and then I repented of my sins and asked Jesus into my life to make sure I was a Christian. I latter realized that I hadn't done it for God, but for man, so I spoke to God again and repented from my heart, and gave my life to Jesus Christ, I received the peace of God, and was filled with joy, my life had changed. I was fulfilled meeting God.
The Bible comes to life.
I have since read the Bible New Testament. In the book of John chapter 3 vs 1-7, there was a very religious man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, Nicodemus new that Jesus was a teacher who had come from God. Jesus said to Nicodemus. Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
In verse 5 Jesus answered. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. In vs 6 Jesus explains that there is a need for a new birth, Jesus Said that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that Which is born of Spirit is spirit. We mustn't overlook vs 7. Jesus said. Do not marvel that I said to you, you must be born again. God want’s to give everybody a new life. Having received a new life that comes from the Almighty we read in
2 Corinthians 5 vs 17. Therefore if anybody is in Christ he is a new creation, old thing have passed away, behold all things have become new. And in 1 Peter 1 vs 23, talking about Christians as having been born again not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through The word of God which abides forever. Is God calling you as
Well, to become His child to love Him and to know Him.
Who are the children of God ?.
The Bible tells us in Romans 8 vs 14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. Meaning living by faith in Jesus Christ, Led by the Holy Spirit to do Father God’s will.
For you to receive forgiveness and eternal life from Almighty God.
You must first make peace with God..This is how, simply believe God’s testimony about Jesus Christ, and respond in prayer to God’s call on your life. Repent and give up your Life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In Acts 4 vs 12 is talking about Jesus Christ. Nor is there Salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men, by which we must be saved. Romans 5 vs 8 says. But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus died in our place, Jesus the healer is our Saviour God. Jesus healed the lame so that they could walk. Jesus healed those who had leprosy and they were cured. Jesus healed the deaf so they could hear. Jesus raised the dead. Jesus opened blind eyes so they could see. Jesus cast the devil out of people who were tormented. Jesus healed crippled limb’s and made people whole. Matthew 11 vs 6. Jesus said blessed is he who is not offended because of me.
You can be certain Jesus is God.
Speaking of Jesus John 1 vs 1-14 teaches that The word was God, and the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
Jesus fulfilled Biblical Prophecy when He was despised and rejected by the Jewish authorities. Jesus disciples loved Jesus, but the world hated Him, and the world still hates the real Jesus, because He teaches that the world is evil, and that people are in need of repentance and Salvation. The world is happy to believe Jesus is dead, but Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus had no sin of His own, Jesus is alive, we don’t pray to a dead man in the grave, but to the risen Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came from Heaven to earth to die for the world sin, so that we all could have fellowship with God through His blood, so that we could come into a personal relationship with God and know Him as Father. John 3 vs 16 says "for God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish (in the lake of fire) but have everlasting life". God loves you that’s why Jesus came to die for you. John 12 vs 27-28. Jesus said, now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say ? Father save me from this hour, but for this purpose I came to this hour. Father glorify your name. Then a voice came from Heaven saying, I have both Glorified it and will glorify it again. When Jesus was arrested, He gave Himself up to be crucified. It was Father God’s plan for Jesus to die on the cross, to shed His Blood, to pay for our sins, so that we may have life. Jesus justifies everyone who believes, and gives Life to the Full.
Jesus suffered horrifically to death.
Matthew 27 vs 27-31 says the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium, and gathered the whole company of soldiers around Him, and stripped Him, and Put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a Crown of thorns, they put it down on Jesus head. They put a staff in His right hand, and they bowed before Him and mocked Him saying. Hail King of the Jews! Then they Spat on Him, and took the staff and struck Him on the head. After they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own cloths on Him. Then they whipped Jesus up to 39 lashes, each lash tearing into His already beaten body, then they led Him away to be crucified. When Jesus had walked to the place called the skull, they laid Jesus down on the cross, and banged nails into His hands and His feet, nailing Him to the cross, then they stood the cross up and dropped it into the ground. Jesus body was covered in His own sinless blood, as people continued to mock Him. Jesus received a criminals punishment, Jesus took the death penalty for our sins. To understand how Jesus suffered, you need to read at least the four Gospel, but even this short account reveals His love and obedience to Father God and His love for all humanity. Just before Jesus died He cried out Father forgive them for they do not know what they do. Psalm 22 vs 15-17 is a prophecy that Jesus fulfilled. My strength Is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue clings to my jaws, you have brought me to the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded me, the congregation of the wicked has Enclosed me. They pieced my hands and feet, I can count all my bones. They look and stare at me. In Matthew 27 Vs 46 says. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice saying, My God my God why have you forsaken me ? As Jesus took the punishment for all our Sins, He experienced for the first time, separation from the Father for a short while. Jesus cried Father into your hands I commit my spirit, and then He died in our place. Jesus rose from dead, He is Alive. On the third day just like Jesus had prophesied, Jesus rose from the dead, and was latter physically seen alive by over 500 people all at the same time. All Jesus disciples had seen Jesus risen from the dead, he even ate with them. Over a period of forty days Jesus continued to teach about the Kingdom of God, and as revealed in Acts 1 vs 2-3. Jesus gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. When Jesus followers saw Him they worshiped Him. Just before Jesus physically ascended back to the Father in Matthew 28 vs 17-18. Jesus said All authority Has been given to me in Heaven and on earth. Go make disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of t he Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Mark 16 vs 16 vs 19. So then after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into Heaven and the clouds hid Him from sight, and Jesus sat down at right hand of God. For you to gain the bigger picture concerning these things, it will bless you to read these Scriptures as a start, and then as you continue to read the Bible, the Lord will reveal that what is written here for you is reliable.
My own Testimony of God’s amazing Grace.
As I had said earlier, I repented from my heart and gave my life to Jesus Christ, through Him I received the peace of God, and was filled with joy, my life had changed. Two Years went by and then I split up with my boyfriend and blamed God, I then didn't want anything to do with God. My parents kept saying Julie you need Jesus. All I would do is hurl abuse at them, saying I don't want to know, leave me alone. As soon as I said that my life just got worse because I rejected Jesus. Jesus said to His disciples in Luke 10 vs 16 He who hears you hears me, he who rejects me, rejects Him who sent me. Meaning to reject Jesus is to reject Father God.
I wasn't happy. I had thoughts of suicide as I looked for a way out of my depression, I thought of suicide, but quickly dismissed that idea. I started to look for someone who could love me for who I was. Once again I messed up, and this time got into abusive relationships. I was so unhappy I started to think of the peace and joy that I had when I used to follow Jesus. Since I had rejected Jesus my peace and joy had gone and I felt very alone. I knew what I had to do to get my peace and joy back, but I felt so ashamed of my sin, that I felt that I couldn't go before a sinless God and say that I was sorry, so I put it off once again. I then went on a self destruct mission, I was out to hurt others like I had been hurt, but really I was hurting myself. I was laying in bed one night, thinking to myself, am I going to give my life back to Jesus because I can’t live this way anymore. I suddenly heard this evil gruff voice say to me, follow me and I will give you all the treasures of the earth, I knew that the voice that I heard was not the voice of God, but it was the voice of the devil. I flew out of my bed and ran into my dad saying, I want to give my life to Jesus Christ, and I did there and then in prayer to God. The peace and joy came back and so did the meaning of life. What’s the meaning of life, well its Jesus Christ and knowing Him. From that day forward I have neverlooked back, I have had difficulties and problems and even tragedy, but Jesus has led me through it all, and He Has comforted me and he has never left me. Jesus gives me a fresh new day and my life on the whole just gets better and better. After coming back to God, I had got so fed up with meeting the wrong sort of man, I prayed and asked God to find me my future husband. For three months I had no men in my life which for me was very difficult. I prayed and read my Bible and I trusted God For my husband. Three months went by and God brought me the wonderful man a girl could ever whish for. Stan was also a born again Christian, and after two years we were married. Our wedding day was blessed and perfect. Contentment, & a happy marriage.
My contentment comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Please I urge you to make peace with God while you still can. There are only two places where a man or woman can spend eternity, Heaven or hell. You will need to speak to God for yourself and repent of your sins, ask God for His forgiveness, and then give your life to Jesus as your Lord God and Saviour, then you will spend eternity in Heaven. But if you turn in unbelief in rejection of Jesus Christ and then breath your last breath, you will spend eternity in the lake of fire, weeping and gnashing your teeth in mental torture in agony, thinking of all your wasted opportunities, you will remember this letter forever, you will remember every time that you rejected Gods love. God does not want you to be punished for your sins, that’s why Jesus died in your place, He took all your punishment. God wants all men and women saved by Jesus, God doesn't want anybody to end up in the fires. The man Jesus the Son of God was God in flesh. Jesus will forgive your sins if you turn to Him in repentance.
Here Is a Salvation prayer for you to make peace with the almighty God. Only say it if you mean it.
Pray. Lord Jesus Christ. I believe you died for my sins. I believe Father God raised you from the dead on the third day and all authority in Heaven and earth has been given to you. Lord Jesus please forgive me for all my sins and come into my life as my Lord God and Saviour. I want to be born again of your Holy Spirit, for Father God’s will to be done in my life. I repent of all my sins and give my life to you. I believe in accordance to your word the Bible, that I am now saved by your sinless blood, by God’s Grace, and through faith in you my Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for Saving me, please teach me to understand your Holy Word the Bible, and fill me with the Power of your Holy Spirit, so that I can truthfully follow you to your Glory.
